To meet federal sponsor regulations, all subrecipients on University of Oregon awards must have their own enforced financial conflict of interest (FCOI) policy. Those that do not are required to use the UO's Financial Conflict of Interest in Research Policy and processes.
Under the UO's FCOI Policy, subrecipient personnel who are responsible for the design, conduct, or reporting of the research must:
- Complete FCOI training every three years
- Submit an annual conflict of interest disclosure
- Update their disclosure within 30 days of a change in their Significant Financial Interests.
If the Department of Energy is sponsoring the research, your particular award may require that all personnel on the project must meet the above requirements. If you are uncertain, please contact our office.
Required Subrecipient Training and Declaration Forms
Each employee who is responsible for the design, conduct, or reporting of the research must complete the FCOI training and submit a conflict of interest disclosure using the link below.
On average, employees can complete the training and forms in 20 minutes, but it could take up to 1 hour depending on the number of Significant Financial Interests an employee has.
