UO faculty, staff, and students* now have the ability to sign in to CITI through Single Sign On (SSO) using their DuckID.
- Users with a previously created CITI account may need to associate their UO SSO account with the CITI Program account the first time:
- You will need to have your CITI password and username the first time you log in.
- Check that your CITI account has your preferred first name, last name, and UO email address (XXX@uoregon.edu) as part of your profile and that it matches exactly with your preferred first name, last name, and UO email address in Duckweb. This allows your CITI records to be linked with your DuckID.
- Go to the CITI Single Sign On (SSO) account and log in using your DuckID.
- If you log in to CITI directly, your account has been previously associated with the UOand you can start completing courses. You should see "University of Oregon" in your Institution List in CITI.
- If you do not log in to CITI directly after logging in with Duck ID, follow the instructions to associate the UO SSO account with the CITI Program account.
- After associating the accounts, you will be able to log in with your DuckID.
- For new users to CITI:
- Go to the CITI Single Sign On (SSO) account and log in using your DuckID.
- Follow the instructions to create a new CITI Program account.
- After creating the account, you will be able to log in with your DuckID.
- Non-UO affiliated researchers can continue to create accounts and affiliate with UO through CITI directly.
